The AC input voltage is filtered by the transformer and rectifier circuit to get the high voltage DC, and the high voltage DC is chopped by the BUCK chopper circuit to get the required output voltage. The control circuit samples the output voltage and output current, and produces a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to control the BUCK circuit after closed-loop feedback, so as to keep the output voltage or current stable.
